Fans applaud iconic series ‘The Village Headmaster’

Since the first episode of the remake of iconic TV drama series, ‘The Village Headmaster’ premiered on Sunday, April 29, 2022, it has continue to attract commendation by millions of viewers, including the elderly who watched the original production which aired between 1968 and 1988, and younger generations, who seem to have fallen in love with it based on its artful storytelling, performances, and production.

According to a statement by the show’s producers sent to Saturday Beats, the drama series, which was revived through a ground-breaking partnership between the Nigerian Television Authority and Wale Adenuga Productions, is being ‘produced in line with international best practices, and contains the precise volume of suspense, culture, romance, comedy and action, which are the major elements of a great TV series’.
