Bayo Onanuga takes over Tinubu’s 2023 Presidential campaign media team

The Road to Aso Rock Villa for Jagaban of Borgu, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is prepared to ascend the most coveted political seat in Nigeria and to get that seamlessly done he recruited Otunba Bayo Onanuga, one of Nigeria’s finest media gurus. Bayo Onanuga is among the five man-team that founded TheNews Magazine a Flagship News magazine that chased General IBB and Sani Abacha out of office in the 1990s.

He was the brain behind the success story of TheNews Magazine, TEMPO, PM NEWS and other journals as Publisher/ Editor-In-Chief and that earned him elevation to having been engaged as Managing director with Nigeria’s wire agency News Agency of Nigeria-NAN, until he relinquished that job for another higher one. This time he got Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as his 2023 Presidential Campaign Organization as Director of Media. This appointment came before the June 6th and 7th All Progressives Congress APC Presidential Primary election held at Eagle Square Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

Since he took over, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Media Team, there has been vibrancy in the management of news surrounding his Principal who he was privileged to have recommended the hiring of Professor Yemi Osibanjo as Commissioner for Justice and Attorney general of Lagos State Government under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as executive Governor way back in 1999 to 2007.

He was able to talk with Kayode Oyero concerning the allegations made against Bola Ahmed Tinubu by Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP chieftain, Bode George. And given his huge presence in the National media space Bayo Onanuga is a big fish that will attract a lot of goodwill from his professional colleagues and those along the corridors of political power and security circles with whom he had interacted as a Media guru. No wonder Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu considers Bayo Onanuga as the man that will be his Spokesman and image manager in the Murky waters of politics where no one wears White Agbada to swim with the pigs in the muds.
